What is the Budd:e Cybersecurity Education Package?
The Budd:e Cybersecurity Education Package is a series of media-rich learning activities developed for secondary school pupils. It is designed to help raise students' cybersecurity awareness so they can stay smart online.
Do I need to install anything on my computer to access Budd:e?
Budd:e requires Adobe Flash Player 9 or above to run and Adobe Reader to view some supporting information. Sound is used throughout the site. To get the most out of Budd:e ensure your computer speakers are connected and turned on.
Can I access Budd:e using a screen reader?
Budd:e seeks to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and the Equality Act 2010 to allow it to be accessible by people with disabilities. The site has been developed to be compatible with screen readers as much as practicable.
Full accessibility is difficult to obtain in Flash products, so to ensure all people have access to the content provided in the modules, a text-only version is available
What should I do if I'm experiencing technical problems?
Check that you have Adobe Flash Player 9 or above installed on your computer and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
If you receive any 'action script' errors, please update your Flash Player to the latest version.
If you receive an error stating 'Connection to the debugger could not be established' you may have a 'debugger' version of the Flash player without a content debugger installed. You can install an Adobe content debugger for your version of the Flash player or alternatively you can update your Flash Player to the latest version.
What should I do if I'm experiencing sound problems?
Some versions of Flash Player (including some iterations of Flash Player 10), have some problems with playing sounds. If the sound effects in the modules are delayed or playing out of synch, update your Flash Player to the latest version.
